Curiosity has five working parts
Questions are cheap. Curiosity also notices, tolerates uncertainty, tests its ideas, and updates after the result.
The recursive loop
Every answer should improve the next question.
Start by noticing. Build a model, state its prediction, then compare that prediction with what happens.

Climb past the first explanation
Begin with what you can observe. Interpretation comes later.
“He is angry” is an interpretation. “His answers became shorter and his voice got louder” is something another person could verify.
Assumption inverter
Try the opposite without believing it.
A reversed claim reveals which assumptions hold the original in place.
The lab
Make the explanation earn your confidence
A useful model predicts what you should see. Write the hypothesis first, then turn it into a test.
Write a hypothesis to expose its prediction.
Name the result that would force an update.
Choose one action that creates new information.
Change the resolution
Move between scales.
The same event looks different through a person, network, or system. Change scale before choosing where to intervene.

Curiosity needs an exit
Curiosity needs commitment, boundaries, and a stopping rule. Otherwise it scatters attention, intrudes, or gives anxiety better vocabulary.
Explore / exploit
Balanced inquiry
Keep enough range to discover, then stay long enough for the work to compound.
Novelty addiction
You collect tabs, books, and beginnings without building anything.
Choose one thread and make something.Research as avoidance
